close encounters

I finished my alien cloth that I am making for my daughter Dawn's birthday next month. I had fun making this as it is the 1st time I have knitted something that had a design in it. I have to make a 2nd one. I was thinking it would be cool to make it into a table runner or something like that. After I finish the 2nd alien cloth I am going to try the dragonfly cloth pattern in some really nice cotton yarn I got at Sweet Stitch www.sweetstitch.com in Bremerton.

That's a cool washcloth! I like playing with new ideas and new stitch patterns on washcloths: it is sort of like having a very useful swatch when you are through.

Yes it is a useful swatch and I plan on doing many more of them.

That is very cute!

Are you using a knitted cast on? I ask because one end of your wash cloth looks longer than the other. Mine used to look like that when I used a knitted cast on, but with a long tail cast on it doesn't. It may just be the camera angle though...
