Dave had been putting up siding on our house and a new window this week end and we had enough to builda new chicken coop that is now in the back yard. The old window is now the door to the coop and there is a back door to reach in to gather the eggs each day. It is in a very shady spot where there is plenty for them to eat besides their feed. I have 4 hens now and I am looking for a broody bantam hen so I can buy fertile eggs to hatch. So now all my pests oh I mean pets are in the back yard in their own homes.
